Abstract After literature review of mentoring network theory, social capital theory and career management theory, we investigate the relationship of mentor of social capital, the effects of mentoring functions and employee's career success by the structural equation method based on sample data. The results show that: i) the mentor of social capital has a significant impact on the effects of mentoring functions; ii) the effects of mentoring functions have influence on employee's current salary, promotion, career satisfaction ,and have a positive correlation with career satisfaction.
