Abstract This study uses modern brain science and cognitive science to analyze poems of Song Dynasty's poet, Su Dong Po, and explains the reasons of his troublesome governor's career. Subsequently, this paper links cognitive science, anthropology, brain science, multiple intelligence and executive intelligence to explain strategic a thinker's brain power. Finally, this paper suggests Chinese management researchers reexamine Chinese strategic thinking's literatures with modern brain sciences and open a new avenue for strategic thinking management.
