Cross Culture Competence of Expatriates: Theory and Modeling Review

Abstract  

This paper reviews crossculture competence model from many aspects and took an engineering company in Shanghai as an example to deeply analyze crossculture competence model of Chinese expatriates. It summarizes and proposes newmodels, which is composed of three dimensions: recognition, emotion and behaviors. Recognition is the basis, emotion is the key point, and behavior is the result. The three dimensions construct the dynamic developing competence model of Chinese expatriates.
