Abstract  Based on resource orchestration theory, this study examines the influence of the entrepreneurial team and resource integration strategy on the ambidexterity of start-ups. A two-stage questionnaire survey of 426 new enterprises in five provinces was conducted, and the results show that:polychronicity of job assignment was found significant positively related to ambidexterity. Team help behavior was found positively related to ambidexterity. Bricolage was found positively related to ambidexterity. At last, we conducted an SEM test and the results show that bricolage plays a partial mediating role between the relationships of job assignment polychronicity and team help behavior on start-ups’ ambidexterity.
