Abstract Based on the organizational immunity theory and organizational advantage theory, this study develops a theoretical framework of organizational dual immunity affecting organizational adaptive performance. The study concluded that organizational immunity not only has the dual characteristics of psychological immunity and behavioral immunity, but also possesses dynamic attributes such as self-organization, self-learning, and self-adaptation; organizational dual immunity has a “Excessiveness leads to deficiency” effect on adaptive performance; organizational immunity performance plays a mediating role between organizational dual immunity and adaptive performance; health-promoting leadership, flexible organizational structure, and environmental uncertainty moderate the effects of organizational dual immunity on adaptive performance.
