Abstract In order to explore the relationship between servitization of manufacturing and enterprise value, this study made an empirical analysis based on the panel data of 740 advanced manufacturing enterprises in two markets from 2013 to 2019. The regulatory effect of slack resources composed of absorbed and unabsorbed ones as well as absorptive capacity on the relationship between servitization and enterprise value was also described. The results show that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between servitization of manufacturing and enterprise value. Absorbed slack resources negatively moderate the “servitization-value” relationship, while unabsorbed slack resources and absorptive capacity have positive moderate effects.
