Abstract This study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, based on the basic moral theory and existing research results, through interviews and questionnaires, to improve the internal structure of the moral foundation in the Chinese cultural context, and develop and test the moral foundation measurement scale. The research results show that the moral foundation in the Chinese cultural context is rich in connotations, including eight dimensions of care/harm, fairness/cheating,loyalty/betrayal,authority/subversion,sanctity/degradation,liberty/oppression,saving/waste,diligence/laziness;The measurement scale contains 8 factors and a total of 24 items. The result of factor analysis shows that the reliability and validity of the scale have reached a better level.
