Abstract From resource orchestration perspective, this study utilizes grounded theory to explore the internal mechanism of the growth of technology-based new venture in collaborative value creation. The results show that: ①resource orchestration is an important intervening condition between collaborative value creation and growth, and there are three relational structures and action paths based on resource structuring, resource transforming and resource harmonizing; ②the growth process of technology-based new venture is accompanied by the co-evolution of collaborative value creation and resource orchestration, with different forms and relations in business initial stage, running-in stage and stable growing stage; ③the growth of technology-based new venture is based on resource orchestration, and the transitive effect, combination effect and matching effect stimulated by resource structuring, resource transforming and resource harmonizing are the coronation of bundling effect and are the vital links to drive growth.
