Abstract Taking manufacturing enterprises as an example, based on the analysis of the influence of craftsman spirit on employees’job well-being, according to situational strength theory, this study introduces career growth opportunities and organizational fault-tolerance climate into AMO theoretical model, and discusses the moderating effect of them and their interaction in the process of craftsman spirit affecting employees’job well-being. The results show that craftsman spirit has a significantly positive impact on employees’ job well-being. Not only career growth opportunities and organizational fault-tolerance climate but also 3-way interactions among craftsman spirit, career growth opportunity and organizational fault-tolerance climate can positively moderate the relationship between craftsman spirit and job well-being.
