Abstract Conforming to the new economic and social situation in China, especially the reform trends for enterprises’ transformation and upgrading in the northeast, the 8th China Human Resources Management Forum in 2019 was held at Northeastern University, Shenyang, from September 20th to 22nd, which aimed to facilitate communication and cooperation in the OB and HRM field. The theme of this forum was “New Journey with New Challenges and Opportunities: The Characteristics and Development of Human Resource Management in China”, and the attendees joined in it warmly and had in-depth discussions. On the basis of summarizing the views of this forum, this paper points out the future directions of human resource management.
