Abstract  By multi-case with the same core figure analysis and guidance of solving practical management problems, this article concludes SONG Zhiping’s amalgamation management insights based on mixed-ownership reform regarding Chinese SOEs by virtue of first-hand interviews and second-hand five books wrote by SONG Zhiping. The research indicates that amalgamation management insight of SONG Zhiping consists of corporate ownership collaboration, resource composition and cultural combination, helping BNBM Group (China National Building Material Company Limited) and China National Pharmaceutical Group Corp always turn threats into opportunities as well as grow into global Fortune 500 companies. In theoretical aspect, collaboration, composition and combination are highly consistent with amalgamation theory.
