Abstract From the perspective of organizational differences and integrates the theory of resource dependence, this study introduces value co-creation as mediating variable and relationship embedding as a moderator variable, to build a theoretical model about the relationship between organization distance and industry-university-research collaborative innovation performance, and uses related analysis and regression analysis methods to conduct an empirical research. The results show that: Organization distance of multiple entities has a negative impact on the industry-university-research collaborative innovation performance; Value co-creation plays a partial mediating role in the impact of organization distance on industry-university-research collaborative innovation performance; Relationship embedding has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between organization distance and value co-creation.
