Abstract By applying the theory of the Big Organization and the theories as well as methods of the Complexity Science Management(CSM), this paper studied the characteristics and organization mode of the Internet era. It points out that the Internet era has the characteristics of big data, big connection and big cooperation, and there are four changes to traditional organizations: the resource view centered on collaboration breaks the traditional closed view of resource, the organization-environment value system of the big organizations breaks the traditional organization-individual value system, the nonlinear thinking mode breaks the traditional linear thinking mode of the traditional organization, and the relationship management mode breaks the traditional centralized management mode. The organizational innovation in the internet era, including innovation of organizational structure-networked organizational structure without boundaries, innovation of organization operation mechanism-the self-running operation mechanism, and innovation of organization operation mode-the “clustering” operation mode was put forward.
