Abstract  This study examines the important effect of leader abusive supervision on employee voice behavior. Drawing on the self-determination theory and conservation of resource theory, this study looks deeper into the mediating role of the dualistic work passion between leader abusive supervision and employee voice behavior. Using the structural equation model method and so on, the empirical research results indicate that Leader abusive supervision has a significantly negative relationship with employee voice behavior. Employee harmonious work passion and obsessive work passion play partial mediating roles in the relationship between leader abusive supervision and employee voice behavior, that is, leader abusive supervision significantly reduces employee harmonious work passion and increases obsessive work passion, which both reduce employee voice behavior hereupon.
