Abstract From the perspective of resource-based view, and based on the theory of organizational learning and relational theory, this study explores the relationship between the alliance portfolio management capability and focal firm’s cooperative innovation performance. The results show that alliance portfolio management capability not only has a positive impact on the focal firm’s cooperative innovation performance, but also indirectly influences it through knowledge power and relational learning. What is more, compared with knowledge power, relational learning has a greater impact on cooperative innovation performance.
