The Influence Mechanism of Green Entrepreneurship on Employee’s Organizational Commitment

Abstract  Based on organizational legitimacy theory and stakeholder theory in CSR research, this study explored the influence of green entrepreneurship(GE) on employee’s organizational commitment with 279 part time MBA students sampled in Guangzhou. The results showed that GE had a positive impact on employee organizational commitment significantly, including affective, normative and continuance commitment, employee ethical perception about GE companies performed as a fully mediating variable,and the influence of GE on organizational commitment was comprehensively. In addition, some practical advice is given correspondingly to motivate present companies to undertake GE activities and make themselves green, including reconsidering GE attribute, communication management and it’s comprehensive affect on all stakeholders.
