Abstract This study analyzed the corporate entrepreneurship of Haier Group based on interdependency patterns and rules. It is found that interdependency patterns of high modularity, low concentration and high openness or interdependency rules of high stringency and high immediacy can promote the cultivation and promotion of entrepreneurial capability. The interdependency pattern of high modularity can improve corporation’s ability of resource integration and opportunity exploitation. The interdependency pattern of low concentration can improve corporation’s ability of opportunity identification and exploitation. The interdependency pattern of high openness can improve corporation’s ability of resource acquisition and opportunity exploitation. The interdependency rule of high stringency can improve corporation’s ability of opportunity identification and value co-creation. The interdependency rule of high immediacy can improve corporation’s ability of opportunity identification and value co-creation.
