Abstract Since the emerging technology is complex and multiple actors are involved in technology standardization of emerging industry, it has produced lots of technology standardization cooperation networks. Based on the cases from Chinese Internet of Things Industry and from the perspective of social network theory , this study explores how the technology standardization network is formed and what interaction mechanism it has. This study aims at providing support for enhancing the technology standardization network effects of emerging industries and thus accelerating their technology standardization process.
