CEO Inclusive Leadership and Employee Proactive Behaviors: The Mediating Effect of Employment Relation Climate

Abstract  Through using matched data from 134 Vice presidents, 134 HR managers and 1214 employees in 134 enterprises, this study examined the positive effect of CEO’s inclusive leadership on employee proactive behaviors, as well as the mediating role of employment relation climate. The research results showed that CEO inclusive leadership could evoke employee’s proactive behaviors through forming a positive employee relations climate in an organization. Through integrating organizational and individual factors, the study revealed the process of how CEO’s inclusive leadership influencing on employee’s proactive behaviors. The study also provided a significant reference to the management of employee behaviors.
