A Research on Building the Path of Data Exploration in Marketing

Abstract  The present research proposes the idea of data exploration and builds a path composed of the stages of “gathering”, “separating” and “grouping” for the data exploration of online stores. By using the method of PVP, we construct the meaningful data mining statements with dimension combination to get meaningful data mining statements, among which the valuable statements might be the future direction of data mining. We verify the rationality of the theoretical system on the data exploration path through exploring and mining the data from online stores. The results shows that the data exploration path constructed in the research can improve the efficiency of data mining in marketing and the decision making level in data mining direction.
