Abstract In response to the paper “The Evolution of the Internationalization of Chinese Management Research and Its Future Direction: The Development Paradigm of the International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR) in China and Community Building” published in Chinese Journal of Management recently, this article comes up with the questions addressing the development of IACMR and the efforts on the internationalization of Chinese management research, from the perspective of the common sense and basic logic in management theories. What is the underlying logic of the three development stages of IACMR? What are the achievements of IACMR? Are the achievement in internationalization or theoretical innovation of Chinese management research? What are the management theories? Answers for these questions are given in this article either.
