Abstract   Our current management research is voluntarily kidnapped by US-style research and institutions. It caters to US taste and demand. This is not our comparative advantage and is inconsistent with our academic mission. For over 30 years of reform and opening up, the remarkable achievements of Chinese enterprises in operation and management practice provide unlimited opportunities for management research. It is recommended to build indigenous theories rooting from Chinese culture. Explore and develop new concepts and theories of Chinese indigenous management is a challenging project faced by domestic and aboard Chinese scholars. Huawei and Lego corporations have achieved commercial success through applying Yin-Yang balancing thinking. Chinese indigenous research scholars at domestic and aboard should condense the essence of the Chinese culture and wisdom to develop a systematic framework. Chinese wisdom can supplement Western theories, and thus enhance the way of management to a higher level.
Key words traditional culture wisdom      indigenous research on management      new concepts      new theories
