Abstract Taking a leading mini satellite enterprise DFH as a case, this paper discusses what the aerospace complex product innovation ecosystem (ACPIE) is, what features the dynamic evolution of ACPIE mainly has, and how to achieve its dynamic evolution. Through the case study, it comes up with the findings as follows. Firstly, aerospace product development should focus on the overall design, whose innovation subjects consisting of the core enterprisesupplierscientific research unit form a microecosystem. Secondly, the main features of the dynamic evolution which is from hubandspoke to symbiotic ACPIE include there aspects: the participant action turns around core enterprise into the innovation ecosystem target; the organizational boundary is from clear to indistinct; the core enterprise’s role turns from a leader into a platform creator. Last but not least, especially in order to open the “black box” of the conversion process that is from hubandspoke to symbiotic ACPIE, this paper analyzes deeply how to match dynamically between the core enterprise strategic logic (guerilla logic and complexity logic) and interorganization cooperation (networking and Collaboration) based on the path of value source choice and institution stability method in the different development stages of innovation ecosystem. As an exploratory and pioneering research, this study will complement and promote the theory of the Innovation Ecosystem of complex product, which has important practical and valuable guidance for the realization of China’s space strategy.
