Trust Configurations and Evolution Patterns in Entrepreneurial Teams

Abstract  This article aims to analyze the evolution patterns of the trust in entrepreneurial teams (ETS). We come to the following conclusions by making comparative analysis of six typical cases: ①compared to generally defined team trust, trust in ETS features in the significantly important role of calculationbased trust and institutionbased trust for future benefit expectation;②relationships among elements of trust in ETS change in the entrepreneurial process; ③relationships among elements of trust change structurally, forming different structures of trust in different stages of entrepreneurial process, and these changes have effects on the configuration and the development of trust in ETS; ④it is whether the institutionbased trust for future benefit distribution rules can be realized that matters to push the configuration of trust in entrepreneurial teams to its maturity level, and in addition to this key factor, maintaining the calculationbased trust for future benefit among team members definitely support this transition as the basic condition.
