Organizational Culture Change and Intervention Strategy: An Anthropological Perspective

Abstract  This paper compares the Saman preacher and the manager of organizational culture from an anthropological perspective to probe the impacts of spatial structural factors on organizational culture and interprets relationship between managers’ planned intervention and organizational culture change in details. Additionally, it illustrates the theoretical explanation and practical demonstration of differences between common management consultants and anthropologists. Finally, it convinces managers that anthropologists can play an indispensable role to effectively facilitate the organizational culturechanging program.
