Employee Happiness Management in Transitional China: Theories and Practices

Abstract  The Human Resource Management problems with China’s characteristics emerged from the transitional China is from affluent physical accumulation to mental fulfillment, from fortune purchasing to happiness purchasing. To answer this epoch proposition, the Second International Forum on Human Resource Management and Employee Happiness Management was held from 28th to 29th September 2013 in Economics and Management School of Wuhan University. Motif including happiness management, case study and practice, multilevel research, leadership, employment relationship, human capital and management of innovative behavior were discussed on the forum. Some highlights of viewpoint and research conclusions on the forum are compiled and concise comments are offered in this paper.
