Abstract This research attempts to analysis Institutional entrepreneur’s ability and motivation from the internal social network perspective. We divide individual’s
social network position into four types, and analyze the impact of each type on actor’s resource acquisition and expectation of interests, and their ability and intention of institutional
entrepreneurship. It is expected to enrich the microlevel research on institutional entrepreneurship and offer enlightenment for the reform of the macro level system.
