Abstract  Compared with positive extrarole behavior, negative extrarole behavior is an increasingly concerned issue by academia. In this study, we design the effect model of organizational ethical climate on job satisfaction and employee deviant behavior. The empirical results show the four orientations of organizational ethical climate including regulation, care, independent judgment and company interests have significant positive effects on job satisfaction while personal interests orientation has a significant negative effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a significant negative impact on employee deviant behavior. Job satisfaction also plays intermediary role in the relationship between organizational ethical climate and employee deviant behavior. It argues that the corporations should create positive ethical atmosphere and improve job satisfaction to avoid the occurrence of employee deviant behavior.
