This article analyzes the literatures of resource efficiency based on the data from web of science. The CitespaceⅡ is applied to mine information and visualize the results for further analysis. Then the research progress, distribution of hot topics, evolutionary path and the future tendency of the research are concluded and analyzed from management perspective. Upon this, current deficiency of our research is pointed out and advices on future research direction are proposed as the intelligence support.
