Abstract Based on the literature review, this article develops the theoretical framework of how the human resource practices fit organization's product development modes, especially focus on the characteristics of the human resource management that the company adopts. Then, using a standardized case study method, including first and secondary data collection, data coding, research and analysis, it draws the two important conclusions: (1) the case company acquires both the commitment-based and control-based human resource practices simultaneously; (2) in order to make the human resource practices fit with the product development modes, the case organization changes the individual's ability, cognition and behavior by acquiring the configuration of the human resource practices, and then there are benefit for the company success.
