Abstract In this paper, based on the hypothesis of time diversion of sense quality, an inventory model of fresh agricultural product with sense qualitydependent demand is developed for two operational ways that are one order with batch shelve and one order with flexible shelve, by which the optimal pricing policy is studied. The conclusion indicates that supermarkets should adopt the mode of direct supply after participating in farmsupermarket connection.
