Abstract   On the basis of social exchange theory, this article firstly makes clear definition for temporary employment in China. Secondly, we present the threedimensional model of employeeorganization relationship for temporary employment involving temporary workers, the client organization, and the agent. Thirdly, we discuss how the different types of employeeorganization relationship will impact temporary worker’s performance. Finally, the managerial implication is discussed.
