Abstract On October 12~14 2018, Central South University hosted the 7th annual China Human Resource Management Forum and International Symposium in Changsha. The theme of this forum was “The power of mind in a new era: innovation and development in Chinese human resource management.” Guest speakers delivered talks on innovation and creativity, the applications of Chinese culture to human resource management, strategic human resource management, management of new generation employees, management of new-type organizations, leadership, management of negative attitudes and behavior, career management and team management. On the basis of expounding the views of this forum, a brief review of relevant issues is given in this study.
