Abstract By discussing the three developing phases of IACMR and the problem of academic communities, this article unscrambles the meaning of facing the practice farther and advances 3 criteria. According to these criteria, the research finds that the Question-centered research insisted by Maslow as well as Drucker’s way for management research are typical patterns of “Face the practice” and that the practice can not only link up management instrumental value and noumenal value but also be the bridge for the internationalization of indigenous management research. The conclusion lends itself to showing the practicability and feasibility of Drucker’s way.
