Abstract For the relationship between practice and theory, management practice produces management experience, but can’t bring management theory directly. The experience can be summarized as law, and then be converted to theories, which are used to instruct practice. Managers who live in life-word summarize experience and law and finally construct theories as empirical men but not rational men. So the production of management experience has national feature. The cornerstone of Chinese indigenous management theory construction should be experience resource form national life-world but not existing theory. With the foundation of empirical philosophy, the common experience basis of human civilization is found by the way of mutual interpretation between China and the west, which is the foundation of dialogue between Chinese indigenous management theory and western mainstream management theory.
