Abstract Indigenous Management is a hot topic in today’s Chinese management research. And in last year, some scholars have discussed the relationship between indigenous management and Chinese traditional philosophy. In this article, we will make further efforts to discuss some viewpoints of Li Ping and Li Xin. In Li Ping ’s opinion, Chinese traditional philosophy is more important than western culture. This research advocates that Li Ping has neglected the new development of western philosophy in the 20th century. At the same time, we don’t think that Taoist School is more important than the Confucian School. As to Li Xin, we think his view about “The Doctrine of Mean” is not right. The key of “The Doctrine of Mean” is the “earnestness”, and Li Xin’s view is wrong. At last, we hope more scholars will take part in this discussion.
