Abstract In this study, the mechanism model of the effects of personorganization fit on career success and organizational performance was first proposed after an extensive literature review. Then, then data were collected from 400 MBA students and managers through questionnaire surveys , and analyzed to examine the relationships among the variables by using SPSS17 statistical software and structural equation model. The results showedthat there were positive correlations among personorganization fit and career success, organizational performance and their dimensions; employability played an intermediary role in the relationship between personorganizational fit and career success, and it also acted as a partial mediator in the personorganization fit and organizational performance. Finally, it was also confirmed that the fit between individuals and organizations, the mutual cooperation and common responsibilities of cultivating and improving employability had a direct impact on individuals’ career success and organizational performance.
