Abstract This article used secondary data of Chinese Fortune 500 in 2012 to investigate what the contents and the dimensions of espoused values were among chinese enterprises based on content analysis. 17 dimensions of espoused values were found. Discussion on the content, cultural characteristics, functions and distribution of espoused value were presented along with future directions for research.
