Abstract The study constructs a structured paradigm of innovation management called as enterprise innovation roadmap from four dimensions including mapping, capacity, mission, and route. Enterprise innovation roadmap contains some basic components including three worlds (creative world, technical world, and commercial world), three innovations (core innovation, chain innovation, and fountain innovation), three systems (strategic system, activity system, and support system), and five types of routes (ideological route, technological route, product route, market route, and organizational route) . Among them, three worlds are the mapping of innovation, while three types of innovation forming the capacities, three kinds of systems being the main task, and five types of routes becoming the choices of future paths of a firm’s innovation development. The purpose and process of enterprise innovation roadmap are realized by mapping innovation worlds rationally, constructing innovation management system scientifically and scheming innovation action plan professionally, a firm can finally realize multilayer values from innovation activities.
