Anthropology and Business Management: Probing the Pathway of Localization in China

Abstract Management is a social phenomenon, as well as a cultural phenomenon. Business management not only pays attention to the study of events and process, but also emphases cultural values and culturally related issues. Anthropology, as a social and behavioral science, has a unique tradition in terms of in-depth study cultures. Anthropological methodologies play an important role in directing the practice of business administration. This paper offers an initial exploration of intrinsic relations between anthropology and business management and discusses the development and application of business anthropology.
