Abstract One of the essential issues in Chinese management research is how to view Chinese context. Based upon the review of literature on Chinese context and analysis of Chinese management in practice, this paper proposes two dimensions as transition dimension and culture dimension. Moreover, this paper infers an integrated approach, through which two dimensions of Chinese context are interacted to analyze Chinese management phenomena. By doing so, this study hopes it can set a theoretical base for future studies on Chinese management.
