Abstract This paper proposes that action research can be used as a touchstone to “Facing the Chinese Management Practice”. Taking the implementation of action research as a case, it shows how BusinessIT Alignment theory makes guidance to management practice in enterprise, and how the management practices reveal the Chinese scene for the theory and further improve the theory. The results show that action research can provide reference on research methods for “Facing the Chinese Management Practice”.
