Abstract In this paper, we make an exploring study on the components of top management support and their influential factors through a case study. We propose a framework model for better understanding of the behaviors of top management in the process of informationization and provide theoretical support to the reform. The result shows that the components of top management support include resource support and change support etc., and environmental pressure, technology advantage and management pressure are key factors affecting support of top management. We also conclude that the entrepreneurship as a variable affects the relationship between the factors and support of top management.
