Abstract Workplace behavior is a frontier theme for researchers in deviant behavior research field. It was defined as lowintensity deviant behavior with ambiguous intent to harm the target, in violation of workplace norms for mutual respect. The study has reviewed workplace incivility from the perspectives of dimension, antecedents, outcomes and evolvement progresses. It finally puts forward future research directions in this regard.
