Abstract The main stream of strategic management theory was influenced mainly by competitive strategy. But strategic decision behavior such as trade off and strategic choice challenged it recently. We stretch ambidexterity perspective from organizational behavior field to strategy research. By theoretical deduction, in this article, we summarized an ambidexterity paradigm not merely explained coopetition theory, coevolution theory, cost innovation and glocolization theory, but combined those new insights with traditional strategic theory together. This paradigm support enterprises’ strategic behavior stronger in emerging market or those with oriental cultural background.
