This paper discusses the match of entrepreneurial alertness with entrepreneurial opportunity. We conclude that the match is a presupposition of opportunity discovery and it is not sufficient but necessary. The match lies to not only the attributes including strength and direction but also the dynamics. The match condition is that the stochastic opportunity point falls within the entrepreneurial alertness domain in the course of the opportunity window’s opening to the ending.
