Abstract Adopting empirical research method and based on 167 valid questionnaires from Internet shops, this paper studies the impacts of personal traits and personal network on entrepreneurial intention. Results show that innovativeness in personal traits, individualoriented achievement motivation and socialoriented achievement motivation all have significant impacts on entrepreneurial intention. It also show that network willingness and network application in personal network make positive impacts on entrepreneurial intention; however, network skill is negatively related to entrepreneurial intention.
