Abstract Development of management theory and practices in China attracts much more attention nowadays. Firstly, we categorize those practices into peoplebased management, operation management, supply chain management and the management of strategy and culture. There is a trend we can find that practices of strategy and culture management take more and more important part in China’s management practices since 2007. Secondly, the impact of local culture, internal and external environment of enterprise to management practices is analyzed and we get the conclusion that those peoplebased management and strategy management practices in China should learn from Chinese traditional management concepts, while the practices of operation and supply chain management should pay more attention at west management science.
