Abstract A research framework of management theory with Chinese characteristics,which focuses on management innovation,and a framework of formation mechanism of management innovation of Chinese enterprises with topdown perspective are constructed in order to supplement the single research perspective on this topic.Besides,a research method framework,mainly using cross-case study,is designed.Service innovations of Dalian Sanyo Cold-chain Co.,Ltd.,Haier Co.,Ltd.and Hussmann Corporation are used as cross cases and compared,and the qualitative data is analyzed with ATLAS/ ti 5.0 in order to make an initial test on the designed framework of research ideas and methods.
