Abstract Subjected to manufacturing enterprises of Pearl River Delta, the empirical study on relationship of supply chain information sharing impacting factors, information sharing level and enterprises performance is undertaken in this article. The results show that there is positive impact of supply chain partner characters on information sharing level and enterprises performance. Supply chain partnership impact enterprises performance through information sharing not only indirectly but also directly. The less the gap of the information level among the supply chain partners is, the better the partners information sharing level and enterprises performance will be. The research results exhibits enterprises must : 1) take into account partners' characters and information level when they choose partners; 2) strengthen the supply chain partnership, especially the trust among the partners; 3) strengthen information sharing and communication among supply chain partners.
